I was invited to make a presentation at BISG’s annual Making Information Pay conference, and because we (Gilbane Group) were in the midst of the “Blueprint” study (of which, BISG was one of seven sponsors), I was asked to address what bad things can happen if a book publisher isn’t at least preparing to go digital. BISG—Book Industry Study Group—is a great organization, and if you are a book publisher and you’re not a member, well, shame on you.
